If you were thinking of heading to Rio in two years’ time, World Archery has announced that archery could be one of the cheaper sports to get into. It is expected that tickets for the elimination rounds will cost as little as around 20 US dollars, with the best seats in the Sambodromo for the finals thought to be due to sell for around $70. The full ticketing program is due to be released sometime in November, and it is expected that up to half of the seven and a half million tickets that will be made available will be priced at under $30. More than 10,000 people watched archery live each day at Lord’s cricket ground at the London 2012 Olympics.
