The location for the 2016 Archery World Cup Finals has been announced as Odense, in Denmark. The 11th World Cup Finals will be staged in the King’s Garden, an 18th century palace garden, on the weekend of 24-25 September.
Denmark has hosted the World Cup Finals once before, in 2009, and the 2015 outdoor World Championships. In a statement on the organisation’s website, World Archery president Prof Dr Ugur Erdener said, “Denmark has proven itself more than capable of delivering the highest class of international archery events, first with the Archery World Cup Final in Nyhavn in Copenhagen in 2009, followed by the World Archery Championships, also in the
Danish capital, last summer.”
