World Archery’s new rule book will be released on 17 March, and will come into effect on 1 April 2014.
After the organisation’s 50th congress in Belek, Antalya, in 2013, several changes were decided upon that will enter the rule book in its new edition.
Those changes are:
- Changing the name of the FITA Round to the 1440 Round
- Using the set system in recurve team head-to-head matches
- Using the cumulative scoring system for indoor compound individual head-to-head matches
The updated rules will be available on the World Archery website after 17 March in the ‘constitution and rules’ section.
It’s truly very difficult in this busy life to listen news on TV, so I simply use web for that reason, and get the most recent news.
