Patrick Huston, World Youth Championships winner in individual and mixed team recurve categories, was nominated as Archery GB’s British Olympic Association athlete of the year. Introduced in 2005, the award allows Olympic sports governing bodies to nominate athletes who they consider to have had an outstanding year. As well as winning two golds in China, Patrick won the European Field Championships and the National Junior Indoor Championships, as well as placing second in the Senior National Indoor Championships.
