The County of Warwick Archery Associated has asked its club archers for feedback on Archery GB’s proposed membership modernisation.
The proposals would require members to make separate applications and pay separate subscriptions to Archery GB and their respective club.
The CWAA believes these changes would have the knock- on effect of increased club membership fees, as well as making the membership process more complicated.
There are also plans to allow membership to start at any time of the year, rather than the nominal affiliation year, which runs from 1 October.
Juniors and students, it is proposed, would also have to join Archery GB on an individual basis while free membership for the disabled would be discontinued.
