Several changes to the Archery GB Rules of Shooting came into effect on 1 April 2016.
The changes include an allowance for “other” metric rounds to be shot in three or six arrow ends; allowing the use of timing control systems (lights and countdown clocks) alongside audible timing signals for all rounds shot under Method 2 timing; the introduction of 72-arrow single-distance rounds for juniors; and a clarification that in field archery, where unmarked and marked rounds are shot, the unmarked round is to be shot before the marked round.
A revised rulebook is available online at the Archery GB website.
