World Archery has launched a crowdfunding campaign for its Excellence Centre, allowing members of the public to contribute to the project in the final stages of its development. Benefits for the people donating include the opportunity to have their names displayed on a wall of honour on the outdoor shooting range, exclusive memorabilia, sponsorship of trees and targets, and the option of advance-order archery lessons, among other perks.
Tom Dielen, WA Secretary General, said, “The World Archery Excellence Centre was conceived to be a central hub for archery’s growth worldwide. So we wanted to give the global archery community, as well as the sport and local communities in Lausanne, the chance to be involved in the project. Any money we raise will be invested in making the inside of the Centre as welcoming and comfortable for athletes as it can be.”
