World Archery has revealed the archers that will be standing for places on its athlete’s committee. World Archery Congress is held alongside the World Championships every two years, and at the Congress directly before an Olympic Games a new athlete committee is elected that will represent archers to World Archery. National governing bodies select athletes to put forward, and archers at the World Championships will then vote for their selection from the shortlist. One archer from each competitive category (recurve men, recurve women, compound men, and compound women) will be elected.
The nominations for 2015 are:
Naomi Folkard (Great Britain – recurve women)
Celine Schobinger (Switzerland – recurve women)
Viktoriya Koval (Ukraine – recurve women)
Oh Jin Hyek (Korea – recurve men)
Juan Rene Serrano (Mexico – recurve men)
Ivana Buden (Croatia – compound women)
Linda Ochoa (Mexico – compound women)
Albina Loginova (Russia – compound women)
Pierre-Julien Deloche (France – compound men)
Reo Wilde (USA – compound men)
